- Budget helps to aid the planning of actual operations by forcing managers to consider how the conditions might change and what steps should be taken now and by encouraging managers to consider problems before they arise. Budget provides a forecast of revenues and expenditures, that is, construct a model of how a business might perform financially if certain strategies, events and plans are carried out. . The budget of a government is a summary or plan of the intended revenues and expenditures of that government.
- Therefore the task assigned to the finance teams will be to analyse the Union Budget of our country for the year 2013-14; and thus come up with a forecasted union budget for the year 2014-15.
- Teams will have to state the necessary measures that the government takes up and the reasons for its undertaking. Particularly highlight the areas which need more attention and accordingly divest the country’s fund.
